A beacon of hope in the midst of strip malls and trashy beach development. Used drive-thru in evening, and walked in for morning coffee and breakfast to-go. Lives up to the expectation of good, consistent quality that we have when we patronize Starbucks.

I'm in here multiple times a week and have yet to have a bad experience. They always get my order correct and are efficient. I've sat at a table for a couple hours playing Titanfall and writing blog posts.

So if your barista hasn't had his coffee yet he's moody.. I asked for a venti and he rang up grande ..I said it's supposed to be venti (tone) ok

Todays visit consisted of going to the drive-thru and placing two separate orders. Got a little "tone" from the order taker..."ok....(*sigh*) .. What's the first order?" Got to the window and paid. Cashier wasn't the friendliest. Anywho.. We sat outside to enjoy our beverages. I went inside to get a refill. This cashier was very friendly and even smiled. Too bad he can't work both drive-thru and front at the same time

They were extremely busy yet very efficient and fast. I was not disappointed with my visit. All three of my drinks were made correctly and were very tasty

I was truly surprised by my bad experience here. I'm from Chicago, was on vacation at the beach, and stopped in for a couple hours to get catch up on some work. The outside is so well designed, I was drawn indoors. Inside (mind you it was the last couple hours of the night) it was a hot mess. The employees were unprofessional. To me-they were pleasant. However, as I was working, they were chatting. One of the employees was talking about how he was starting a new job next week. The other employee asked why and he said he was sick of working at Starbucks. Then he went into a story about how the manager (newish manager from what I found out) had asked him his opinion on how things were being run and managed. He gave his honest opinion and as he stated: she didn't like it. So he was going back to working at the mall. Meanwhile, there was trash on the floor and tables that nobody came to clean off, nor wipe down the tables. I know there's a drive through so I thought they'd get to it. No. In the end, I went and picked up all the trash from the tables as I left. They didn't even notice. I've never been to a Starbucks with such unprofessional employees. They are talking about their job and other topics loud enough for all of us to hear. Plus they are speaking poorly of their job which makes Starbucks look bad. Perhaps this is something the manager needs to wonder about & how to either bring in better employees & keep them. Plus they aren't concerned about keeping the place nice & making it a place you want to hang out which is what Starbucks strives to do. Honestly, I thought I was in a Burger King or something. I hope they can improve.

Came here on a Saturday night after dinner for coffee and desert and the staff (especially one loud guy) seemed to be having too much fun, especially OLG. I got a good coffee thanks to the barista but they had one brownie and that was it for deserts. Epic fail for a Saturday night! OLG spent a lot of time chatting very loudly with people behind the counter. Uggggh, come on. Would have given it 5 stars except for OLG. UPDATE 2-20-15 Came back during the day and they had a different set of crew members and these people where much more professional! All the conversations where at normal volumes and did not overwhelm the customers. Raising it to 4 stars b/c of my 50/50 experiences so far.

Just stopped by for a late night drink. The guy works at the register was soooo rude. He took my order, took my gold card, and then just walked away didn't even give me an opportunity to get my receipt to enter for the Starbucks for life. He was very rude. I've never had a bad experience at this location but I will for sure think twice before I visit this one again. Everyone with me said the same thing when we got to our car. Very disappointed. Not sure what his name was but it said "mvp" under it. Definitely not a mvp performance in my opinion. I will say the guy that made my drink was very nice. That's the only good thing that happened on this visit.

I love when Starbucks has a drive-thru! I don't want to shower, put on real clothes, or get outta my car before I get my coffee buzz on. My drinks were always correct and I had several large orders and specifics. The coffee was fresh and was served fantastic employees that were efficient and pleasant. It is in a shopping center across from the Wal-Mart shopping center north of Main St.

Stopped at Starbucks in NMB this morning for a Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino which was a gift from my granddaughter. It was awesome, the drive thru was fast and the girl at the window was great.

The Yelp map has this Starbucks placed incorrectly. And it's easy to miss because of all the competing signage in this busy area. It is 5 blocks north of Main Street, at the corner of West Port Dr., across from the Gator Hole area (ChickFilA, Home Depot, Arby's). Friendly folks, and Yay, they have a great drive-thru!!

Self-professed Starbucks Chai addict. I travel for work and thus have been to Bux locations across the country --- well, across the globe actually! This location has one of the best teams of any I have been to. Was in the area three days and visited each day (the third day I drove out of my way to visit this particular Starbucks to see if it stayed consistent 3:3) - each day the staff was exceptional, organized, friendly & from all outward appearances enjoyed their fellow team members as well as their clients. Kudos to the managers and to the staff. I look forward to returning when business brings me back to the area!

Friendly staff and the best coffee in NMB (not that there are a lot of options)!

There is 1 closer to my home, and 1 closer to our church and 1 closer to where I work! BUT THERE'S NOT 1 LIKE AFTON RIDGE! The whole early morning weekday team are some of the best.

A little hidden even though its on the corner of 17 and West Port. Nice staff. I'd bang the chick from Fairfax if I could.

I renewed my non-addiction addiction for Iced Grande Soy Latte in North Myrtle Beach. What else would I be having at 6am on a rainy day? It really comes down to whether I get a good iced grande soy latte. Believe it or not, there is a big difference between a good one and a not so good one. Granted, they are all using the same ingredient and formula, but sometimes there is just not enough love in my iced grande soy latte. This one is on the lower side.

drive through, drive through, drive through!!!! It's really all I care about because you get the Starbucks standard where ever you go. I was also appreciative of the southern twang over the speakers. Made this northerner appreciate a touch of southern hospitality.

Stopped by on a Friday morning. Seemed more chaotic than your average Starbucks -- the line wasn't well-established, there were crumbs all over many of the tables, and it seemed like the baristas had a few different misunderstandings with customers. My latte was so-so. They did have pumpkin scones, however, which are my favorite!!
